' Submit entries by October 30, 1983 to: Rosemary Curley, Waterside, Charlottetown RR # l, ClA 7J6 NATURE ART SHOW: We are pleased to announce a showing of selected nature ' photographs of Prince Edward Island entitled " The Wild Side of the Isle" at the Eptek Centre in Summerside from October 17 to November 6, 1983. This is a joint project of the Island Nature Trust and the Prince Edward Island Natural History Society and is being co—ordinated by Dan McAskill and Geoff Hogan. The show will display 25 photographs in an 11 by 14 or 16 by 20 format. The scenes will cover as wide a range as possible to depict the various aspects of the natural side of our Island. This project has been designed to: a) educate the public on the intrinsic beauty of our Island's wild places b) encourage interested people to develop their photographic skills c) provide an avenue for the display of nature photographs on Prince Edward Island d) acquire photographic material for the educational programs of the Island Nature Trust We hope that it, combined with the lecture series, will help both organizations in developing more interest in natural history in Western P.E.I.
