Mr. Mountain was a most intelli- gent conversarlonallst, a. great read- er and blessed with a wonderful memory till within a short time of his passing. The funeral was held from the home of his daughter on Wednesday afternoon and was at- tended by many old friends. At the close of the service the remains were bourne to the cemetery at Mal- peque and laid to rest in the family plot there brside those of his wife who predeceased him evc-ral years ago.
