Four years ago, the subject of chis notice went to Boston, Mass, where she resided continuously in close proximity to many of her rela- tives and friends, u,util, in April last she contracted measles, superlnduced by Pneumonia which eventually ter- minated her life, despite all that kindly miniscrations _of devoted stay the hand of death. Deceased was an exemplary young womu'i,courteo\.s gentle, and sympathetic ln her life, patient in suffering, and reiigned in death. She was much loved in her home sind community. and enjoyed _-the fellowship of ii large ci/rcle of friends. Of bor, it might truly be said she led a pure and unseliish life. The remains were brought tio the Is~ devoted friends of all denominations manifested their high esteem and sorrow for the deceased in many ways fn the preparations for the funeral and deep sympathy for the bereaved father, brothers _and sisters who are left behind to mourn the loss of one, who so carried the white robes of lter purity tihrough the muddy paths of this sinful world that the ' sweet beatitude may be appropriately ap- plied to her, "Blessed are :`ue pure in heart for they shall see lied."
