JOHN SCOTT ' In the X's-Kill; pass-uni; away of Mrs. John Scott at iih: age of '17 years Clyde River lost one of its oldest and most highly esteemed residents. The deceased had been in a rath- er poor condifon of health for‘ some months and as tine went by, instead of improving she grew gradually weaker. All that medical skill and kind friends could do was done but all to no avail, her strength gradually waned, until her gentle spirit winged its heav- enward flight. Besides a sorrowlng husband Mrs. Scott leaves to mourn the loss of a kind and loving mother five sons and threé daughters. The sons are Seymour Scott, Cornwall; Kentford Scott and Peter Scott, both of Meadow Bank; Cecil Scott, Charlottetown, and Harold Scott, Clyde River, and the ‘three daugh- ters are Mrs. George Livingstone and Mrs. Gordon McKinnon, both of Clyde River, and Mrs. John H. Wiidblood, Chatham, N. B. All are feeling their loss very heavily. Another son, Brenton Scott, lmss- ed away in 1926. Mrs. Scott was a woman who was quite widely and favorably known. She was ever ready to lend a,’ hand in every hour- of need. But while all who had the pleas- ure of knowing her shall miss her greatly it is in the home that her loss will be felt most keenly. There the loved ones will often long for her genial presence and her word of good cheer. But all to no avaiL 5h; has gone on forever and ere this has received the Master's . plsudit, "Well d0lle sood and filth- ml servant, enter thou into the Joy of thy lord."
