Royal Ramblers wall- oped the Unionvale Hornets to the tune of 11-2 in the O'I4oary rink on Tuesday night. The Hornets put up a good fight but it was of no avail, as the Ramblers swarmed down on them in their spree of goal getting. The Hornets were playing minus a good number of their teammates, but will probably have a full squad in their next lime, and change things a bit. The Ramblers have made a great deal of improvement in their play- ing since last winter, and there is not too much doubt about who is going tax take the cup this season. It was won last season by the O'Inary, Atomice. This cup was donated by the O'I.eary Clothing and Footwear Company of O'I4eary, and any team winning this cup. - receives it for the season for which they have won it. The North Bedeque section is reported to be nearly as bad. Both there sections of ihe high- way were badly broken up by frost last spring and later the road was torn up and re-built but not paved. For about a mile out- side Kensington the road follows Worst Highway Conditions Experienced In Many Years a new route entirely and this part is very soft. The ' mild spell has Played havoc with both new sec- tions and later on in the spring the condition is expected to be equally bad. Motor travel is about completely held up and traffic from the mainland is badly af- fected. ' Most people realize that it was necessary, to rebuild the road but U19! are concerned that so far there has been no government promise to pave it this coming summer. One Charlottetown man damaged the undercarriage of his car so badly coming through last Thursday evening that he would not even try to set back and on Friday he loaded his car on a flatcar and shipped it to Char- lottetown by freight.-S.
