Miss Blanchard possesses a clear,
strong contralto voice, which appear-
ed at its best in "Cnrissima." Mr.
Ritchie's voice is a tenor of superior
quality. His rendering of the beau-
tiful song "I Hear You Calling Me"
charmed the audience, and showed his
frroat natural gift of interpretation.
"Mary" wan also very sweetly rend-
~rrd by Mr. Ritchie. The duet "Hunt-
ing Tower" would have been more
cnjoyed had the singers been ,perfect-
lv familiar with ths'words of this
old Flcntch song. It is n matter of
regret that the people nf.-Alberton
have not more opportunities of hear-
ing good music. Such’ as they warn
favored with on Friday evening cer-
