      feel

      cafeteria
      closes
      too
      early
      in
      the
     
     
      morning
      and
      therefore
      they
      miss
     
     
      breakfast
      which
      ends
      at
      9:30.
     
    

    
     
      “We
      would
      extend
      the
     
     
      hours
      but
      out
      of
      all
      the
      students
     
     
      who
      have
      meal
      plans,
      unfortunate-
     
     
      ly
      only
      30-35
      of
      them
      eat
      break-
     
     
      fast,”
      explains
      Braithwaite.
      “There
     
     
      is
      not
      a
      huge
      demand
      to
      serve
      an
     
     
      early
      breakfast
      on
      the
      weekend
     
     
      either.
      A
      brunch
      is
      served
      from
     
     
      11:30-1:30pm
      on
      the
      weekends
      but
     
     
      only
      a
      few
      show
      up
      for
      it.”
     
    

    
     
      Braithwaite
      is
      satisfied
      by
     
     
      the
      services
      and
      the
      variety
      of
      food
     
     
      Cara
      Foods
      provides.
     
    

    
     
      “Over
      the
      years
      we
      have
     
     
      learned
      that
      food
      quality
      pays,”
     
     
      says
      Braithwaite.
      “
      Rather
      than
     
     
      serving
      lots
      of
      food
      that
      students
     
     
      don’t
      care
      for,
      it’s
      better
      to
      give
     
     
      them
      the
      choice
      of
      different
      foods
     
     
      and
      that
      way
      students
      enjoy
      every-
     
     
      thing
      on
      their
      plate
      and
      nothing
     
     
      goes
      to
      waste.”
     
    

    
     
      He
      also
      sees
      greater
      advan-
     
     
      tages
      to
      on-campus
      food
      services
     
     
      then
      what
      most
      students
      would
      get
     
     
      off
      campus.
     
    

    
     
      “North
      American
      Research
     
     
      has
      proven
      that
      students
      eat
      better
     
     
      on
      campus
      than
      off
      campus,”
     
     
      Braithwaite
      explained.

      off-campus

      is
