HENRY CLARKIN The death occurred suddenly at his home in Souris on Dec. 20th of Henry Clarkin in his 9st Although in advancéd years he was in good health- and his sud- den passing came as a_ great shock to his many« and later of St. Mary’s in Souris. The late Mr. Clarkin was born at Fort Augustus in 1868 son of the late James Clarkin and Mary Ann Frazer as a young man he took up farming at Peakes Road where he lived for many years until his retirement in 1948. E. I. Mrs. Keith had suffered from pneumonia for about a week but appeared to be recovering and planned on re- turning home soon. After an un- expected turn she passed away in a short time. Mrs. Keith was born in Victoria Cross on October 20th.. 1873, the daughter of Nathaniel and Han- nah MacKenzie Campbell. In ear- ly life she lived in Lower Mon- tague. Alliston, and Pictou, N.S. She was married to. Mr. John Keith of Montague and lived there until her recent decease. Mrs. Keith leaves to mourn her passing her husband and three children at home, Myrtle, Lloyd ‘ |and Louis.
