The devotional period began with a call to wor- ship after which Mrs. Webster led in prayer followed by the singing of the hymn "The Morning Light Is Breaking." - Mrs. Darrach then read a script- ure lesson the theme of which was "Follow Me And I Will Make You Fishers of Men." The exposi- tion wss given by Mrs. M-uwh. At the close of the devotional period the business of the meeting was attended to. A letter with a cheque enclosed was received from Mr. E. C. White to whom the thanks of the society was extended. Mrs. Samuel Campbell read a chapter mom the book "Climbing" by Mrs. Jonathan Gorforth, who spent so years as a missionary in China.
