It was won by Harry Toombs, Wiiliams second, and Peters third. T me ll 3-5, The quarter mile rua bandicap had Duffy on scratch alone, Mclotyr? and Mitchell on the 25 yard mark, Toombs, Eoman end Williams in the 30 yard march. Duffy made a gallant attemp’ on the last stretch but the effort was too great aod he was unable to sustain the pace. The event was won by Toombs, Mitchell second, Mclntyre third. Time §3 4-5. The mile run bad Duffy, Mitchell and McIntyre a'l on scratch. They ran erouod the track at a fat man’s pace until the last quarter when thoy b-gan to move faster> Therace went to Duffy, with Mitchell second and McIntyre third. Time 5 minutes and 49 seconde. The quarter mile bicycle race, flying start, was contested in heats, best two in three. Brown won the first heat in 31 3-5 seconds, Cameron second and Doyle third. The second heat went to Cameron, who rode the distance in 31 seconds, equalling the Maritime record held by Brown. Brown 2nd, Doyle 3rd. Cameron won the final with Brown second. Time 37 2-5. The starters in the two mile bicycle race were Oameron and Doyle. The race was slow as usual until the last quarter when Cameron'started his spurt and won in 7.40 The track was heavy and the corners treacherous. Arthur Cameron will go to Halifax with the Avegweit team and will doubtless prove a veluable addition. Brown was apparently not in his usual form yesterday.
