Vessey wins 1 three Silver Cups and Pre- llc sldeni’s Congratulations. 0 Yesterday the second day of the Pro- vincial Seed Fair at Summerside there was a very large attendance. the specials from east and west being crowded. ln the forsnoon the judging commenced the previous day was com- pleted. . At 2 o’clock the lion. Murdoch Mc- Kinnon, Commissioner oi’ Agriculture, in the absence of the Lieutenant- Govcmpr, who was indisposed, form- slly opened the Fair, the President, ltev. Dr Gauthier, presiding. who in a short address referred to the adverse conditions under which the Seed Fair this year was conducted. He pointed out that whatever short courses there might be. the Fair had now done its good work. it was in fact ‘the iirst short course and from it had sprung the cooperative movement thoughout the province. This year the exhibits were here as in previous years. but there was no chance to show them to advantage. Hc then called upon‘Hon.
