UPEI Leadership Awards: Students eligible for a leader- ship award must be full-time stu- dents who have satisfied the en- trance requirements to the Uni- versity or who have passed at least eight three-semester hour courses in the previous year of study. Students who have en- rolled in less than eight courses in the previous year will normally be expected to complete all of the courses in which she/he was en- rolled. : Awards will be given to stu- dents who have made, are mak- ing, or have demonstrated the po- tential for making a. significant leadership contribution to Uni- versity life. Awards may be given to stu-_ dents participating in University athletic activities but only if the student demonstrates significant leadership through her participa- tion.
