' ?,1 The history of the Silver Black Fox industry of Prince Mward Island is now foo well known to-need repetition here, and we will only state some facts concerning this company since its beginning nearly three years ago. The company have eight pairs of breeders, Black Silver Foxes (pedigreed “Royal Blacks”) _now in their ranch at Seal River. _ _ it,is_proposed to add five pairs of their 1914 pups to the ranch making a total of thirteen _pairs-:Should it be impossible or inadvisable to add the five Cpairs, then the pro posed increased capitalization will be reduced by eighteen thousan dollars for every pair not so added. _This is not_a_first year pup proposition but a going concern of three years standing, anda _dividend payer of an averagelof about one hundred and forty-five per _ cent. for every year since _its inception. _The proposed addition of t e five pairs of pups to the _eight pairs of breeders _now in the ranch, will greatly enhance its value, insure greater stability of the com- pany andthe contini_ian`_ce of large dividends. _ _ _ _ _ From the beginning the ranch has been under the management of Mr. W. A. Jen- kiris_ who hagséhagi oyer five years experience breeding foxes. _ No di as of any kind has_ ever appeared amongst the foxes and the ranch, being miles from _other ranches, is not liable to epidemics. Situated as it is alorigthesea shore perfect drainage is ensured; and the increased ventilation installed in the deris last year, keeps it in a most sanitary condition. These factors no doubt largely account for the excellent returns this year. ._ ._ _ ' - ' NoIperce_n_tag`_e or commission goes to the ranch as it is owned by the share~ holders. ri addition to his salary the manager is paid for the feed (up keep) of the foxes; the balance (with the exception of taxes, repairs, etc.) goes to the shareholders. ` V Estimated Profits for 1915 s 19 pairs pups - - - $190,000.00 13 pairs of foxes should produce 19 pairs pups at $10,000 apair - _ - Less managers salary, taxes, - - feed, repairs, etc., say - - - - - 4,500.00 ieavinga balance of - - - - - $185,500.00 _ 01' Over Seventy-flV€ per cent on the paid up capital. Application for shares may be made to any of the directors. Terms-Twenty per cent with application and the balance on or before first Octob er 1914, after which date shares will be allotted.
