October 27th celebrated their 60th IN MEMORIAM JOHN INDIAN- , -The death of John Inman oc- curred at the home of his daugh- ter. Mrs. Russell Bell on Thurs- day morning, October 16th. Mr. Inman was born in the Duck 84 years ago. the son of the late George and Rebecca Inman. Fifty-eight years ago he married Louise Klnch and moved on the farm adjoining his father's. He was a prosperous and industrious farmer and had one of the finest farm homes around. In 1935 he retired. and with his wife moved to their new home in Alberton. Here as on the farm his home was is place where young and old liked to visit. his ready wit and cheerful smile will long be remembered by his many relatives and friends. After the death of his wife in 1946, he went to make his home with his daughter. He was a man of sterling char- acter, and his word once given, was never broken. His illness was long and trying. but he never complained. He was a faithful member of the Sacred Heart Church, and during his illness was visited frequently by his pas- tor. Rev. W. E. Monaghan and Rev. M. J. Rooney, who admin- istered the last rites of the Holy Catholic Church. He leaves to mourn his pass- ing. the following sons and daughters, Mrs. Florence Beeler. Portland.
