CAUGIIT A LARGE TROUT-
While fishing Saturday evening in
the Dunk River, Master Gordon
Hammill, son of Mr. and Mrs.
Redvers Hammill, Frcetown, caught
a trout 23 inches long and weigh-
ing four pounds. The young lad
was so excited that he was pulled
from the bank into the river and
the younger brother Preston aided
him in landing safely on the bank.

his resignation will be presented to
the St. Stephen Présbytery at its
next meeting to take effect nt
the end of June. Mr. Morris has
been carrying onhis workcontinu-
ously during the year. but for some
time has been advised by his physi-
cnn to take a period of rest in
order to safeguard his future use-
fulness. For this reason he has
asked the church to decide on
another pastor. At a congrega-
tional meeting last evening, a un-
animous resolution of apprecia-
tion ot’ his work was passed, ex-
pressing regret also that he had
decided to leave. A graduate of
Mount Allison University, with his
B. D. degree from Manitoba
Presbyterian College, Mr. Morris
recently completed a four-year
pastorate in Sackville United
Church. l-Ie also has served in
Campbellton. Queen Square church
at Saint John. Summerside. P. E.
I., and twice was called outside the
conference. once to Grace M. E.
