Bruyneel INTRODUCTION “The Gold Chev” (Dr.) Richard Lemm is a professor, a poet and an all-season golfer. While he doesn’t drive a gold Chev, his car is plenty shiny, just like his prose. I swear these intros will get better as they go along. I’m just warming up. Really.~- . “What Do You See When You Draw?” Melda Gibson is a creative writing student at UPEI. She is an excellent runner and jumper, but possibly, just maybe, an even better writer. “Stillness” Marieve MacGregor is a regular contributor to The Cadre. When she’s not acting, dancing or studying, that is. “Tt’s Late Afternoon” Jonah Campbell is The Cadre’s Style Editor and Photographer. He’s certainly bright enough to be disillusioned, but manages not to be. He didn’t name this story, perhaps because he is still sulking that the name he chose for his style column, “Knives, Bats and New Tats,” was rejected in favour of the much bolder, “Style Report.” “A Shorts Story” Thomas Lloyd will be a Cadre reporter provided he keeps his clothes on. He’s been doing poorly so far. “The Gift of Reality” Marc never gives cheap gifts. Ever. “T Sell Christmas Cards” Sarah Murphy has been The Cadre’s News Editor, Copy Editor, Production Manager, etc. Her story is excellent, which is no surprise as she knows, as well as anyone, about filling up blank spaces with words that matter. “Top 50 LPs In No Particular Order” Mike McDougall is the drummer and only consistently photo- genic member of rock legend Eyes For Telescopes. He’s also the drummer for that country band that nobody knows about, The Tuesdays. “Hard Living” Stephan MacLeod is The Cadres Arts and Entertainment
