RP. Cimerty united in marriage. Marilyn Elizabeth Doyle and Winston Daniel Ma- son. For her wedding the bride chose a street-length gown of nylon lace over taffeta with white, accessories and her cor- sage of pink carnations was carried on a white prayer ok. Her only attendant was her sister Barbara Doyle who look- ed charming in a gown of lilac chiffon with white accessories. Her corsage was of yellow mums. The best man was Mr. Borden Cox. For her daughter's wedding Mrs. Doyle chose a dress of mint greem_ printed silk worn with white accessories. Her cor- sage was white carnations. The groom's mother were a pink and white print dress with white accessories and a cor- sage of white carnations. Following the ceremony a reception for approximately 100 guests was held in the West honeymoon trip to interest in the Maritimes. Mrs. Elmer Burt. On Friday July 27th, “Achieve- ment Day" was held. on which the, ladies displayed their vari- ous crafts and modeled clothes which they made. This included dresses. baskets. key cases. change purses. bill folds, cop- per tooled picture. satin cush- ions. and textile painted and liquid embroidered luncheon sets. dresser scarves and pillow cases. Mrs. Robert Woodside from Knutsford attended as guest al- so several visitors from the dis- trict. An address was radd to Miss Leclair and Miss Theri- ault by Mrs. George Ellis thanking them for their help and gifts were presented to which each filtingly replied.
