In cases of collision where the damages claimed, shall not exceed twenty pounds, the same may be tried and reco— vered (if in the County) before any two Justices of the Peace, in the same way and manner as actions of trespass are tri- able; and if -in Charlottetown, before the Police Court thereof, and the amount of the judgment given, may be levied by dis- tress upon the tackle, apparel and furni- ture of the vessel, against which the deci- sion shall have been given.
