An Energy Audit was cov- ered today by various civil servant speakers but the real meat of the session remains for tomorrow. Dr. Brooks In the afternoon three people will present a wide variety of views on nuclear power. First will be Ray Jackson of the Science Council of Canada who will talk of the costs of nuclear power. Next Ian MacKay who will apopogize for it. Mr. MacKay ‘is from the Atomic Energy of Canada Ltd, the Federal Gov-. ernment's nuclear profusion and propaganda agency. Finally Dr. Gordon Edwards of the Canadian Coalition for Nuclear Responsibility will talk on the problems associ— ated with nuclear power. The second portion of the Energy Days program is not yet completed. However the topics will be alternatives and Energy Futures. This se- cond portion will be held April 12 and 13. Sister Wallace to To Talk Sister Catherine Wallace, .Chairperson of the Maritime Provinces Higher Education Commission (MPEC), will be on Prince Edward Island to review the status of U.P.- E.I. She is expected to meet with the Education Committee of the Provincial Government to attempt to explain why U.P.E.I. is in the sitution it is today. On the basis of' her remarks, the provincial government may increase the grant that they give to Hol— land College and the univer— sity. While Sister Wallace is -on the Island, she and Edu- cation Minister Bennett Cam— pbell will come to campus to talk about the fees situation to students and other memb- ers of the university commu- nity. It is hoped that David MacPherson, head of the Stu— dent Loan Plan for P.E.I. will be on campus as well to aswer questions (see article at the top of this page).
