(Sydney Post please cum'-) After a very brief illness of only four days, caused by a fatal attack of pneumonia, there passed peace- fully away at her home in Bradal- bane, Elizabeth A., dearly beloved wife of Robert McLeod, at the early age of thirty-five years. Besides a very large circle of friends and re- lations, she leaves to mourn a much bereaved and sorrowful husband, and two children together with her aged father Donald Corbett of Granville, two sisters Mrs. A. White of Port- land, Maine, and Mrs. R. White of Connecticut also two brothers, Hugh and Murdock Corbett of Granville. The absent sisters were immediately communicated with and arrived home for the funeral, which was very lar- gely attended on Tuesday the 20th inst, Much sympathy is felt for the family in their loss of so kind a daughter and sister, but more ss- pecially for those who have been so suddenly called upon t0 mourn the loss of an affecttonatewife and duti- ful mother. During the few years ,vof her life spent in Bradalbane since her removal from Granville, she en- deared herself to all, old and young alike, by her whole hearted hospital- ity, her genial and lovable disposi- tion. She was over ready to render assistance or supply necessary com- forts to any whom she reallz_ed'was in need of such. Thus the community in which she resided has sustained a great loss by her death. A' very impressive funeral service was con- ducted at her‘Iate home In Bradal- hanc by her Pastor Rav. J. Murray of New London, after which a large concourse of sorrowlng friends fol- lowed her remains to their last rest- ing place In South Granville Ceme- tery and there tenderly laid beside those of her little son, who had predeceased her.
