     Majesty‘s Supreme CourtofJ udicature, Court 
     
     ofAssize, and General Gaol Deliver , for this 
     
     Island, will be held at Charlotte- own, on 
     
     Tuesda the Thirtieth of October next, at the 
     
     hour 0 ten o‘clock forenoon of the same da — 
     
     ~ ofwhich all Justices, Coroners, High and et- 
     
     ty Constables and Bailifl‘s within this Island 
     
     will take notice, and laying aside all manner 
     
     ofbusiness and excuses whatsoever, be then 
     
     and there to do and fulfil those things which 
     
     by reason of their several offices shall be to be

     R. HUNT ~S STOMACHIC MIXTURE. 
     
     The Proprietor ofthis Medicine offers his 
     
     services to the afllicted ; particularly in affec- 
     
     tions of the Stomach, as Dyspepsia, Cardialgia, 
     
     commonly called heart-buru,Pyrosis, or Water- 
     
     brash, 8m. and in Asthmatic affections, Incipi- 
     
     ent Phthisis, Fevers, 8:0 
     
    

    
     The result of long observation has led him to 
     
     this conclusion, viz. that those persons whose 
     
     powers of assimilation are enfeebled (no matter 
     
     from what cause,) most by rapid strides advance 
     
     towards a diseased state in some ofits varieties. 
     
    

    
     Premising thus, he begs leave to observe, 
     
     after repeated trials, he is convinced, that, (if 
     
     there be a specific medicine for any disease) his 
     
     hemical Stomachic Mixture approaches the 
     
     cares; to one ofany he is at present sequaint- 
     
     wit . 
     
    

    
     Itis not necessary here to pomt out the im- 
     
     rtance of keeping the stomach in good order. 
     
     It is not necessary to explain how, by apply- 
     
     g a remedy at once safe and efficacious to 
     
     hose suffering under Dyspepsia, Heart-burn, 
     
     r any similar afl'ection the complaint disap.

     It is not necessary to say, why the morning 
     
     ickness {(if present to that degree requiring 
     
    

    
     e aido medicine) caused by s mpathy with 
     
     ther parts of the system, is relieved by the 
     
     hemical Stomachic Draught. Nor why it 
     
     emoves indigestion and ofcourse sweetens the 
     
     reath ; the fact of its givmg reliefin nineteen 
     
     ases out of twenty, is a suflicient testimony of 
     
     ts merits. 
     
    

    
     Neither is it necessary to reiterate, why that 
     
     sort of colapse. so often experienced by the vo- 
     
     taries of Bacchus, (known bycertain tremulous 
     
     motions, head-ache, want of appetite, and real 
     
     Debilitv,) is relieved, and disappears after ta- 
     
     king a dose ofthe Chemical Stomachic Mixture 
     
     but it may be necessary to say, as a Febrifuge 
     
     Medicine it bears a palm. 
     
    

    
     In casesof Fever, where hot and dry skin, 
     
     white tongue, and thirst are present, by adding 
     
     a single grain of the powder of Ipecacuanha 
     
     of three uid drams (about three tea spoonfuls) 
     
     to the Chemical Stomachic Mixture and diluted 
     
     with tepid water, and taken at intervals of 
     
     from three to six hours the most beneficial ef- 
     
     fects may be expected from it, while toast wa- 
     
     ‘ ' " thin gruel, or any simple diluent drink will

     If to the dose of the Chemical Stomachic 
     
     Mixture, diluted as before, a table-spoonful of 
     
     wine be added, it converts the draught into one 
     
     of the most valuable sudorifics that can be used 
     
     in fevers, for this potent reason, it causes dia- 
     
     phoresis without inducing exhaustion. 
     
    
   
   
    
     Moreover the proprietor,can with confidence 
     
     recommend this mixture, as one of the best 
     
     Vermifoges (worm medicines) extant. If a tea- 
     
     spoonful of this Medicine be added to a table- 
     
     spoonful of water, and administered to a child, 
     
     suspected to have worms, every other morning 
     
     for eight or ten days. The unpleasant symp- 
     
     toms attending them, particularly the bad 
     
     breath, pain in the stomach, irregular appetite, 
     
     the short dry cough, and the almost daily fever, 
     
     all vanish.—In this respect, the Mixture is a 
     
     valuable family Medicine, particularly to those 
     
     residing at a distance from Medical assistance.

     an Assessment on Land, for erecting a Govern- 
     
     ment House and other Public Buildings within . 
     
     this Island.” [do hereby publicly notify the 
     
     Owners, Proprietors, or Occupiers of Lands 
     
     within this Island, for which the Annual As- 
     
     sessment charged thereon by the said Act, of 
     
     Two Shillings lawful money of this Island, for 
     
     every hundred acres contained in the several 
     
     Townships thereof, and in the several Islands 
     
     belonging thereto, and the sum of Two Shil- 
     
     lings for every Town Lot, Pasture Lot, Com- 
     
     monLot, and Water Lot, granted in the Town 
     
     and Royalty of Charlotte~Town; and the sum 
     
     of One Shilling and Four-pence tor every 
     
     Town Lot, Pasture Lot, Common Lot, and VVa- 
     
     ter Lot, in the Towns and Royalties of George- 
     
     'l‘own and Prince Town, is payable, that, unless 
     
     the Assessment for the current year shall be 
     
     paid into my hands on or before the Seven. 
     
     teenth day of February next, I shall on the last 
     
     day of the next HilaryTerm, (1833) cause Pro- 
     
     clamation to be made, of all such lands as shall
