May 17. a wave of sadness swept over the vicinity of Marshileld when Mr. Enoch George Dennis passed away a1, the age of 79 years. after a lingering illness for one year. Ali that medical skill and kind attention could do was done; but God willed otherwise, and called him home. Mr. Dennis was the sole survivor of the late William and Ann Dennis, an old English familv who migrated from Devonshire many years ago. The deceased was formerly a prosperous farmer on the Dennis homestead in| Margot/c. About 28 vears aizo he purchased a home in Marshfield where with his wife and family has since resided. The deceased was an active member of the for- mer Methodist Church in Mlarizate. a k’nd and qefiéfOll-S husband and father. and will leave a vacancv in the home and community.
