A focus on business administration, together with courses in the humanities and a consideration of the societal context of technology, provide program graduates with skills needed to advance their careers. Technologists entering the program must complete 13 university courses (39 credit hours), of which one course is a technical project and report. There is no residency requirement, and the program may be completed on a full- time or part-time basis through Internet-based course delivery. The degree program is designed to enhance the formal edu- cational backgrounds of technologists. The total package of courses, from both an accredited college or institute diploma of technology program, and the university program will provide graduates with a strong technical education together with the additional breadth and skills necessary to move ahead in careers in technology and technology management.
