Well, this is the last issue of the SUN before Winter Carnival. Advance Sale of tickets started yesterday at noon. Hope you've got yours. We feel that most events will be sold out by next lmesday, so if you want to get into events, you better get dam to the Student Union Office in flue Barn as soon as possible. Each U.P.E.I. student is allowed to buy a THE UPEI SUN, 'Ihursday, Jan. 19, 197;, page 7 maximum of mly two tickets per event. 'Ihis allows as many U.P.E.I. students as possible to attend events and allows each student to take a date. What happened in years past was lot of non University people were attending events and U.P.E.I. students couldn't get in. When you are buying advance sale GIMMEA‘ILIBQIW r tickets, your student I.D. must be presented. Carry— ing a ticket to an event doesn't guarantee admittance. Proof of a must be presented if requested by CaIrpus Police. Holders of Advance Sale tickets will be admitted through the side door of the Gym next to the rink. Rush tickets (if there are any left) will be sold at the front door of the Gym (facing Kelley Building). All resident students who eat in the cafeteria are asked to "Grease—Up." The in- ter-resident awards which were so popular last year will once again be award— ed this year. Following this there will be the basketball game between the Puckees and Hoopees and then the “Grease and Booge" Residence Party in the Barn. Plans for, Tuesday even- ing have changed. In- stead of having a disco pub there is going to be a square dance. So, ev— eryone dress up in your old country duds (prizes for best hicks, couples, etc.) and come on down to the Barn. If you don't know how to square dance don't worry about it! The- re is going to be a band, a fiddler and also a cal— ler (who will show ya'all how to dance.)
