In his demise, there is remov- ed trom the community in which he lived. a citizen of sterling qualities of heart and mind. He professed and displayed the 1- deals of his convictions together with a temperment at all times pleasing. His Christian disposi- tion and moral character, which characterized his life at home a lends, won for him the respect and admiration of all who had e pleasure of his acquaintance. In early life he chose in mar- riage his life's partner, Mamie Yorston of Launching. who in lo- yalty and devotion and their du- ties to one another by thrift and industry and a dutiful family earned for him the admiration O --. many. To know the true spirit of the late Mr. MacDonald, was to visit his home, where one was extend- ed a warm welcome and ejoy was at all times gra with hu- mour and sound judgement. A visible mark of the esteem in which the deceased was held. was the large number of friends who viewed his mortal remains, offered masses and extended sympathy.
