The bride given in marriage by her father was radiant in her gown of white tulle lace over net and taffeta with inserts of lace across the back of skirt and form- ing and apron effect of lace down the front, it also featured a scal- loped neckline. The shoulder length veil of embroidered. tulle fell from a tiarra sequin trim of lace with long lace sleeves. She carried a cascade of red roses. For her attendants she chose as maid of honor, her sister, Mrs. George Bowness who wore bal- ferina length mint green chiffon ever net and taffeta with match- ing crownless scalloped hat and carried a nosegay of pink cana- tions and fern. Her bridesmaids Shirley Prid- ham sister of the groom and Edith Rayner sister of the bride, who wore ballerina length pink chif- fon over net and taffeta with matching hats made on identical lines as that of maid of honor. Each carried a nosegay of yellow mums. Darlene Pridham,. niece of the groom, was dressed in pow- der blue taffeta with matching hat preceded the bride up the aisle as she strewed petals from the basket of mixed flowers. Mr. Herbert Pridham acted as best man for his brother. Mr. Bur- ton Rayner, brother of the bride, and Mr. Eric Hardy ushered the guests to their daintly trimmed seats. Mrs. Rayner, ‘mother a the ride, chose for her daughter’s wedding a dress of toupe chiffon over taffeta with satin applique centered with sequins with white accessories and she wore a cor- gage of yellow carnations. Mrs. Pridham, mother of the groom, wore a gusty rose lace dress with white accessories, ny- fon stole and a corsage of white carnations. A buffet lunch and reception for abéut 80 guests followed immed- iately at the home of the bride. The bride's table centered a beau- tifully trimmed wedding cake flanked by silver candlesticks and white tapers and tiny vases of flowers.
