Caspian Tern - 9 at Covehead Harbour on Aug. 23, 17 there on Sept. 23 (WEC). Great Horned Owl - an injured bird found at Gaspereaux was turned in to the Fish and Wildlife Division on Nov. 8 (NGH). Short-eared Owl - an injured individual found at Fortune was turned in tothe Fish and Wildlife Division on Oct. 28. Ruby-throated Hummingbird - 1 female seen at Watervale on Aug. 23 (PKW). Gray Jay — l at Watervale on Sept. 2 (PKW). Ruby—crowned Kinglet - seen in the Montague area on Oct. 10 (JW). Cedar Waxwing - 1 immature seen on Newland Crescent in'Charlottetown on Aug. 27 (WEC) . Red-winged Blackbird -seen in Montague area Oct. 3 (JW). Northern Oriole - A probable nest of this species was found recently by John Wright in Montague about 60 m from where young were seen during the summer (see Nov. Newsletter). The nest is located near the end of a high branch in a deciduous tree and is partly hanging and partly resting on twigs. Common Grackle - A flock of approximately 1000 in the Montague area on Oct. 16 (JW) and another flock of 500 at Waterside on Oct. 20 (FRO). Brown-headed Cowbird — seen in Montague area Oct. 3 (JW). Chipping Sparrow - seen in the Montague area Oct. 16 (JW). White-throated Sparrow - seen in the Montague area Oct. 12 (JW). Song Sparrow - seen in Montague area on Oct. 25 (JW). Lapland Longspur - 2 probables seen in Bunbury on Oct. 14 (SEV).
