EVANS MRS. A. N. LARGE The death occurred in the P. I}. I. llospital on Thursday. March 16 clf Miss Emily S. Evans. 12 Hav- iland street. Oharlottetown. Al- though the deceased did not en- joy the best of health during the past four months. it was not so- psrent that her condition was critical as she -had entered the hfléblisl for treabment only one day prior to her demise. Her gen- erous and cheerful neture which endeared her to all wss ever fore- most. Miss Evans was a lifelong em- ber of st. Paul's Church and wso ever present at. its services. Al- tinough in failing heslLh she wss overjoyed to be able to attend the service on Christmas Day. Her passing was a great shock to her amiiy and friends especial- ly to her only and dearly beloved sislar. Mrs. A. N. Large. Other relatives include one nephew, Gor- dcn Evans and two nieces. Mrs. Russell Beers Fcavyour. The funeral service was held on Saturday. March is from St. Paul's Church and was conducted by the Ru-tor. Rev. J. T. Iilsbott. Mrs. Luge was strick- en with e sudden lllmss from which she never rallied; being tenderly cared for by her daught er-in-law. Mrs, Jack Luge. Euston Street. she passed peacefully away on March 21 surrounded ‘by her loved ones. Mrs. Large. nee Mary Evans, was the widow 01' Albert. N. Large of Chs.rlottciown who passed away in 1931. Mr. Large was a partner in the firm of Large Bros, Livery Stable. Her two sons predeceased her, the eldest son Frederick in 1921 and Jack in 1931. She is sur- vived by her daughter-in-lew. Mrs. .ia.ck Large and two grandchildren Joan and Doneid. Mrs. Large was a valued mem- ber at‘ St. Paul’: Church and took an active part in all its activities. At the recent ennual meeting of the Women's Auxiliary oi the Cuurcvh of England in Cansdl. Mrs Large was to receive a Life Membership but was unable to st- tc-nd due to her sister's illness. Her funeral service wls held at St. Paul's Church on Thursday. March 23. Hymns used were "Abide With Me" and “sofa In The Arms of Jasus." Both Miss Evens end Mrs. Luge were widely known in Che.rlotte- town where they lived the greater part of their lives and they leave behind meny happy memories for friends to cherish.
