It is the only major circus parade in America. The big show,-anti it is big, be- ing one of the two largest in the world. comes to Charlottetown un- der the auspices of the Kinsmen Club for performances, afternoon and night, at Exhibition Park. The city will be well aware of its pre- sence when the thrilling and spec- tacular procession oi Spangleiand wonders pass through the shop- ping district about 11.30 show day morning. A glittering assemblage with all the old-time circus par- ' sde features, - bands, air-or- ', gans and the fanious old steam caliiope: a whole herd of ponder- ous elephants, and great. lines of mounted circus stars; clowns. clown carts and novelty vehicles; scores of open cages and dens fili- ed with wild animals, - all shapes and colors, dispositions and idle- syncrasies - the striped and the spotted, the fawn colored and the beige, - those of the bellowing ' voice and those with the sibllant murmur, and finally, those animals which have nothing to say at all. They'll all be there in the long and exciting "march past" just. as in the days of long ago. It will be 9. great opportunity for the youngsters of the present day who have never before seen a. real, old-time circus street parade. And many of their elders too, will recall the day when they saw their first circus parade. when the par- ade show day morning was as much I. part of the circus as was the show itself.
