W. H. Harding on "Finding God." This service was held in tha Salvation Army Hall. Every service was well attended, the attendance being much better than has been "known for some years. Each meet- ing opened with a short social ser- vice followed by an address by the chosen speaker of the evening. The program was changed slightly on ‘account of-the indisposltion oi Rev. Mr. Harding early in the week, when Rev. J. P. C. Fraser took his place on Tuesday 'in the Presbyterian Church. The topic suggested by the Evangelistic Alliance was not follow- cd by tlrc speeches as it had been arranged that each one should select his own. The addresses were all highly instructive and helpful to the audience dealing with the various phases of prayer. On Friday evening at the close of the week of Prayer, the annual ‘meeting of the Surnmersidc branch of the Bible Society was held, with the President, Mr. C. I3. Jelly, in the chair. In opening the meeting, he gave a very interesting talk on the Years work and discussed the objects of the Society. A great deal of in. terest has been shown in the work this year.
