HOLMAN, Liniltbfll Bummerside. that w ich occurred at Schurm Mill over a year ago, took place about 8 o‘clock on Sunday momlng, when the large coal shed at the rear of Roblnson's flour mill, adjoining the railway yards, containing about 200 tone of cosl, and belonging to G. W. Robinson. was completely destroyed by Bro. The fire when discovered was breaking out through the roof, and notwithstanding the strenuous efforts of the firemen, the building was com- pletely destroyed. Most of the coal was saved. About two weeks ago fire was discovered in the coal in this building, which had originated by spontaneous combustion. A large quantity of coal was then removed and it was thought the fire was under control. The loss will be between four and five hundred dollars.-C. -SUMMERSIDE TOWN COUNCIL. -The regular monthly meeting of the Summersids Town Council, postponed from_'1‘uesday. was held lost evening.
