EALED TENDERS will be received by the Subscriber, S at the General Post Office, Charlottetown, until Wed- nesday, the 15th September next, at 12 o'clock, noon, from persons Willing to contract for the conveyance of In- land Mails for three years. from the first day of October next, on the several and respective routes, as follows :—-— lst. From Charlottetown to and from Souris East, semi- weekly, in a covered carriage drawn by two horses, calling at the different offices on the route, for the purpose of de- livering and receiving mails. The Mails to be delivered in Souris and Charlottetown within ten hours after receiving them. Contractor to forward mails to Mount Stewart Office. 2nd. From Head of St. Peter’s Bay to and Irom Fairfield, Lot 47, by the North Side, semi-weekly. To leave the Head of St. Peter's Bay immediately after the arrival of the Mails from Charlottetown, and to return the following day in time to overtake the courier on his return from Souris. To call at the offices on this route both going and returning, for the purpose of delivering and receiving mails. 3rd. From Beaton’s Post Office, East Pomt, to and from Souris, semi-weekly. calling at Bothwell and Lot 46 Post Offices, or any other offices on the route, and proceed to Souris, and return immediately after the arrival of the mails from Charlottetown. calling at the offices at Bothwell and Lot 46, both going and returning, for the purpose of receiv- ing and delivering mails. 4th. From Fort Augustus to and from Town Road, Lot 3L, as at present carried, semi-weekly. 5th. From Lot 35 to and from Coranban Bridge, weekly. 6th. From Rollo Bay to and from Bay Fortune, semi- weekly. 7th. From Charlottetown to and from Johnston's River and Pisquid Bridge, weekly. 8th. From Charlottetown to and from Georgetown. semi- weekly. in a covered carriage drawn by two horses, and to return the follow-ng day. The Mails to be delivered in Georgetown within six hours after being received in Char- lottetown ; and the Mails from Georgetown to be deliVered in Charlottetown six hours after receiving them in George- town. ' 9th. From Georgetown Road. near Sullivan’s, to and from Vernon River Bridge, Orwell, Belfast, Flat River, Belle Creek and Wood Islands, semi-weekly, and to return in time to meet the courier from Georgetown the follow- ing day. 10th. From Adams’s, Gemgetown Road, to and from Murray Harbor Road, Montague Cross, Maben’s new Post Office, Murray River, Murray Harbor South and Little Sands. semivweekly, and return in time to meet courier from Georgetown the following day. 11th. From New Perth to Montague Bridge. semi-weekly, and Brooklyn, Weekly, 12th. From New Perth to and from Cardigan, Dundas and Lot 56, semi-weekly. Contractor to provide a branch to DeGros Marsh, weekly. Courier to return the following morning in time to meet courier from Georgetown for Char. lottetown. 13th. From Murray Harbor North, to and from George- town, semi-weekly. To leave Murray Harbor and proceed to Georgetown; and on arrival of mails from Charlottetown, to return, calling at the Post Office at Sturgeon. both going and returning, for the purpose of receiving and delivering mails. Contractor to provide a branch to Peter's Road Post Office, weekly, 14th. From Charlottetown, to and from Cove Head, week- ly, as at present carried. The contractors in all cases to commence their trips on such days. and on such hours of such day, as may be agreed on by the Postmaster General; and also to call at all the Post Offices that now are or may hereafter be established on the several routes, for the purpose of receiving and delivering mai 3.
