The Institute also sponsors the Boy Scouts and permits them to use the hall for their weekly meet- lngs free of charge. At Christmas treats were sent to sick and elderly folk and at the end of the school term a treat was provided for the school, and some minor repairs were made to the W. I. Hall. Contributions were made to the T. B. League, the U. E. F. 13., Red Cross, Sal- vation Army. Early in the year the members met at the Hillside Restaurant for a banquet at which six .charter members of the Institute were hon- ored guests.
