Textiles, steels, palpers, liquors and building issues edged forward in the afternoon and the foods and senior oils also came through on an even keel. Gains of 1 to 2 points were boarded vy a sizeable list, including several preferred stocks. Upper Canada and Prancoeur were features, trading more than 30,000 shares each and gaining 3 and 6 cents respectively. Bankdield added 1 1-2. Hedley Mascot 8 cents and God's Lake 1.
