lottetown, was the scene -of a pretty
wedding at an early hour yesterday
morning. when Miss Ellen Jane Lcd-

A painful accident occurred yester-
day afternoon at the corner of
Queen and`Grafton Street, Charlotte-
town, when _little six year old Bar-'
_ncy Murray, son of John Murray,
'night watchman of the Victoria Ho-
tel, was run down by a horse and
jigger _just in front of Hughes Drug
Btore.- The littlofellow started to
run across the street unconscious of
the approaching horse and unnoticed
by the driver. The shaft of the jig-
ger struck him under the chin; he
was knocked down and riln over.
As a result.he sustained. 'besides
numerous bruises and cbntusions, a
rather severe cut under the chin and
s had bruise on the hack of his
Drug* Store. and received first aid
treatment and later was removed to
Dr. Jcukin's Vresidcuce where four
stitches were placed in the wound
