Lodge I. O. G. T. and fraternal visit of
Bethel, Elliott and Excelsior Lodges
was attended by as many guests as
could be seated at the two long tables
which extended the entire length of the
room in Wright’s Hall last even-
ing. Probably eighty Templars most-
ly ycung and about in about equal num-
bers of masculine and feminine, lined
the suniptuously provided tables.
Lodge Deputy Rev. W. J. Kirby
presided very happily, and proposed
the several toasts in _which
the Queen, the Dominion, the various
lodges of Good Templary, the press
and the ladies were duly honored.There
was much good speaking from both the
local and visiting Templars. and the
musical and literary numbers were all
of a pleasing characterand were very
heartily enjoyed. Aftei' a vote of thanks
tendered the Lodge by the visitors, and
the singing of Auld Lang Syne the very
successful meeting closed.
