Roy Leard. who is beginning his second term 0 f f i c e. Mayor Leard was sworn in several days ago by Town Magistrate Howard Clark. Charles Gordon, Douglas Rix and Artiiur McRae were mem- bers of the last council while new members are John C. Prof- it, Wesley Hardy and Vernon Hudson. The mayor and council were elected by acclamation. Mayor Leard welcomed the council and extended thanks to r e t lr i n g councillors Albert Clarke and Cedric Hunter w ho were present. Interfaith Hour Is Held In Alberton ALBERTON —— Some 75 young people were present at an inter- faith fireside hour in Alberton Legion Home. Sunday evening. Rev.
