Que.. or any university or college having a Canadian Officers Training Corps cnn- tingentz. Students enrol in the Regular Army as Officer Cadets and receive special rates of pay. PLAN AN 1|le CAREER SOLDIER APPRENTICE PLAN The Army recommends that a young man take advantage of every opportunity to complete his education. However, if for any reason a boy of 16 leaves school. the Soldier Apprentice Plan is available to him in the Army. Soldier Apprentices receive continued education for 2 years above Grade 8 and instruction in specific trades fields such as Electrical, Mech- anical. Engineering, Clerical. etc. Army pay begins on the first day of training. Uniform s, equipment, accommodation and health care are provided.
