over for some time now, and prices have
declined,with a further downward ten-
dency. There is no Nova Scotia dairy
butter in the market yet, however. Nova
Scotia creamery tubs are coming in fairly
well, commanding 22 cents, prints ruling
at the same figure. Canadian dairy
.rolls are arriving freely and sell at
wholesale bere| for 18 cents. Eggs
at 120. to 1250., are 'in good supply.
Prince Edward Island furnishing the
largest quantity, with a considerable
proportion from Nova Scotia points.
There are onlyafew hundred bushels
of potatoes afloat here, which sell at
230. and 300. There is said to be a
large stock in the Island. Several car-
goes are daily expected now, and it
looks as if, with the low -prices prevailing

something of a. glut in Halifax, and that
values will decline materially here. Tur-
nips are scarce. nominally wholesaling at
