The claim of. the Province upon the Federal Government for compensation with respect to the Dalton Sanatorium will be included by Premier Saunders in the subsidy Ottawa this fall, the Premier declared in an inter- view with a. Guardian representative yesterday. Mr. Saunders would not admit that any financial offer had been made to Hon. Mr. Lea, Minister of Agriculture, on_ the occasion of the handing over of the Sanatorium to the Bell Government by the Dominion'authorities, but in view of the feeling that this Province had some claim for compensa- tion and that the alterations made to the building while it was in Federal hands rendered its opera- tion a more difficult proposition, hewas prepared to submit a brief on the subject and press for com- pensation.
