To those who would learn something of the vast extent of Canada, visit her: large cities, enjoy an inex- pensive outing, the falnous Niagara Falls, and in addition have four days practical education at the Great Pan-American, we would say to buy an excursion ticket to Bud’alo, and to those who are unfamiliar with that section of the country, we would say by all means join one of the personally conducted excursions adver- tised by the Canadian Pacific. A general misunderstanding exists in regard to personally conducted excur- sions. Many people imagine that on these excursions one must pays lump sum before starting to cover all expenses and that while on the journey they must travel with the party, sight seeing and taking their meals, etc., exactly as dir- ected. Those who have made the trip found, however, that exactly the reverse I is the fact. On these excursions each member enjoys absolute freedom to travel as he likes, and to do as he likes. You do not pay an amount to cover all expen- ses, each expense is paid for as incurred. The company send an experienced repre- sentative with each party to assist each member to see as much as possible in whatever way that member feels dis- posed to do so. For instance, leaving St. John on Tuesday 17th, you will ilnd the Courier has arranged for special sleepers and cn arrival at Montreal ifyou are to spend one day there with the party you will find arrangements have been made by which you can leave your baggage in the party’s through car; then, if you have no particular place to visit or any friends to call on, the Courier is on hand to tell you how best to reach them. If you have nothing special you will find the Courier has made arrange- ments for visiting Mt. Royal, St. James and Notre Dame Cathedrals, Chateau de Ramsey, Lachine Rapids and many other points of interest. In addition to this those who join excursions of 17th will arrive in Montreal on the 18th, the day on which the Duke and Duchess of _ Cornwall are due in that city, and you will, no doubt, have an opportunity to see the Royal Party. It is thus throughout the entire journey. On arrival at Bufalo the Company’s Courier has all information in regard to reliable boarding houses, and will make arrangements for checking and transferring baggages from station to boarding house, and willalsoarrange to. have automobiles meet party at depot and convey them to their hotels or boarding houses, and if any member of the party have any particular place to stay or friends to visit, they will find the Courier ever ready to give them careful instructions asto how to do so. In referince to the Fair itself, it is proposed on the day of the arrival there that the Courier will show the party around the grounds and through the principal buildings, giving them a general idea of the features of the ex- position and after that each member can visit that section in which he is par- ticularly interested. Although manymemborsof the drstand second personally conducted excursions by the Canadian Pacific had visited Nia- gara Falls in the past, they claim that until they had seen the falls with the C0mpsny's representatives they had nut seen one half the many interesting feat- ures of that wonderful place for sight see- ing, and what they had seen had been at an outlay of four or five times what it cost them to seeeverything when guided by a Courier who knows every section thor- oughly, and we may say to those who have never visited Niagara Falls that they will, by joining one of these person- ally conducted excursions, save time and expense, and be assured of seeing every- thing of interest. pense is settled for as incurred and each member of the party therefore is at liberty to leave the party and make special side trips or change their route whenever de- sired. On the last two excursions a num- ber returned home from Buffalo via New York and Boston, others remained longer in Buffalo, and a fewrexnained at Toronto, Ottawa and Montreal, which are visited I "Polio-Killer F or i Cuts Burns Cramps Brulses Diarrhoea .. an-...ap-o.»..v~ lt is a sure, safe and qui.-k remedy. , There!
