On Christmas Day, signs of a violation of this Act were seen in this temperate and peaceful neighborhood, and at once the temperance people went to work and ob- tained information. A warrant was taken out, and the suspicious one arrested. On the 3rd instant, John Boole, junior, of Toronto, Lot 64, was bronght before three magistrates—J. Kielly, J. Cowan and H. Beers, Esqrs.
