BULLETINS FROM BIRDLAND A WiNii-'ilEiJ'E. witsos M AIlKI-ZTING Once autumn comes along. many Canadian born birds begin.to find marketing a tiresome affair. But just. because Canaries and House sparrows. live on seeds we should not forget that many species have quite different preferences. A month or more ago swallows began to flock. ready for their southern trek. Nighthawks are off; soon most of the Flycatch- ers will be on their way; in a few weeiu the Vlreos too must go: and scarcely ii Warbler will be seen in Canada by the end of October.
