This is not surprising; how could man's puny intellect fail to do oth- erwise than tremble in the pres- Irlce of the Divine Mind Yet'even when it tremble: the human intellect must not confuse God's ways and thoughts with man's ways and thoughts. God is all-powerful. all-wise and all-good. When He tells us what He wishes to do with His creatures and the gifts He will: to bestow upon them it is our duty not to dispute or argue. but to accept gratefully, fully believing in His ability to do what He promises. Now. among these staggering truths, certainly we can include the doctrine that by snrlctifylng grace we are made partakers oi the Divine Nature. Once when a rrlis. slon station wrote him: "When you have found a good road to where you are we will send some other men to Join you." Livingstone replied. "I only want men who will come even It there is no road."
