The grounds of the Morristown Field
Club were visited today by thou-|
sands of horse-lovers and society,
folk from New York and other cities
within a radius of a. hundred miles
on the occasion of the opening day_
of the sixteenth annual horse show
of the Morrfstowii Field Club. The
show will continue until Saturday,
when the prizes awarded by the'
judges will be formally presented.
The number of entries is unusually
great this year and a num-ber of
special classes have been arranged,
with valuable prizes donated by
wealthy horse lovers. The judges in-

ly finished in beaver board. It pre-
sents a very bright and attractive
appearance und is at present being
used as n millinery room, where
there is kept a splendid range of
curly full ready-to-wear hats. The
finishing touches have been given to
the clothing room and the big stock
is now being moved in.
The interior has been painted and
renovated while the selection of
clothing'is large and comprehensi-ve.
In addition to the new goods there
are n number of clearance lines,
which will bc sold out nt big dis-
counts, including suits, over-coats,
pants, over-ails and a special line of
boys suits, sizes 32, 38, 84 and 85.
The stock of furniture has been al-
most all cleared out and this was
due to the extremely low prices.
There are still some pieces of furni-
ture left, which will in a few days
be tagged with their walking tickets
in red, when n list of the left-overs
will appear. '
Whilst the fire sole still goes on
on the main floor down-stairs, a
large stock of new goods has arrived
and visitors to the Exhibition will
find it profitable to do their shop-
ping nt this popular store.
The fur exhibit is worthy of spec-
lnl mention. There are about two
thousand dollars worth of como of
the finest stock that can be seen
