All our regular meetings were reported in the press, and the Ca- nadian League Magazine was kept in circulation among the members. Entertainment-In an effort to make the meetings more interest- ing and entertaining, a: well ad instructive, a new departure was put into effect. Each night of meet- ing, alter the routine business had been concluded, one of the mem- bers prevented something, WhlCll required a a minute period, such as a scrambled word contest, : short test and etc. A small prize was always awarded the contestant with the highest points. 1 Card parties, pantry sales, chick- en suppera, the aale of ticket: and several social gatherings were tieid for the purpose c! raising funds. Much credit is due the church convencr, Miss Maude O'Connor for her. artistic arrangement oi flowers at all seasons of the year. and emeciallly during the summer months, when the altar was kept prettily adorned with flowers from the gardens. The financial report showed all national and diocesan obligation: as well as a-li bills paid. . During the year the sum oi‘ $217.70 was taken in with expen dltures of $213.78 leaving a balance on hand of $4.01.
