Mr. Stewart was the son of the late James and Mrs. Stewart of Bethel Lot 48. a family it" widely known for its hospitality throughout the surrounding dist- rict. As a young man Wallace went to Manitoba and was em- ployed by the CiP.R.. with head- quarters at Portage la Prairie. His wife, the former Florence Winchester of this city. prede- ceased him four months ago. He is survived by his son Wil- fred of the Meteorlogical Bureau, a brother.
