B., May 26.—The niost disastrous conflagration that has visited St. Johan since the holocaust of June, 1877, occured yeeterday. It started about noon in Nase’a large ‘ store (Indiantown) and it was not until ) eight o’clock at night that the flames were ‘ brought under control. The burned district was mostly built of wood ,but included a number of good resid- ences and large places of business. About two busdred buildinge went down before the flames, and a great many people were rendered homeless. Miss Cunard, an old ladv, was fatally buroed, and another woman died from fright.
