It was a. mi, very happy iiugury for Golden Jubilee and presages a very suc- cessful 60th Anniversary. The vaudeville acts shown were greeted with warm applause by the audience. EVENING SHOW The evening show can well be described as wonderful and was witnessed by another record first evening crowd. All the acts were good but particular mention can be made of Winnifred Cloleano, the Avalon Troupe, the Romanoffs, the Sicgrlst. Troupe, Fifi the Clown. Don Bernardo, the Royals Revue with ten beauti- ful danclng girls in gorgeous cos- tumes, with the lighting effects playing on them was really superb. and Merrill Brothers and Sister. The whole program fully lived up to advance advertising and was sped along by Master of Ceremon- ies Pat Macintosh. Manager Garden read a tele- gram which stated that Snider's Bears could not get here on ac- count of being in a. motor accident in which the car was wrecked and in their place the Hughes Dag and Cat Review was shown. lsareally clever andottractive act featuring Mickey, the blindfolded dog on the tight wire.
