In his seventy. ninth year. - The late Mr. MacGregor was born in Hopefield. Prince Ed- ward Island. and was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Alex- ander MacG-regor. He was well-known in many parts of the province as he had ‘been employed by Canadian Na- tional Railways for thirty eight years both as section man and -section foreman, retiring from this position In 1946. He was a merriber of the United Church of Canada and also of St. An- drews Lodge. No. 13 AF and AM He is survived by his wife the former Susan Buchanan. of Eldon. Belfast; two sons. Wil- llam Alexander of Halifax, and Stephen of Newtonvllle. Mass: one daughter. Mary Margaret (Mrs. Sta-nley Glover) of Dart- mouth; two sisters. Mrs. Mae Drake of Seattle. Wash. and Mrs. Flora Mackary of Chair- lotletown: also six Igrandehtldren and several nieces and nephews. Two sisters and one brolllier pre- deceased him.
